![]() Thank you very much for reading, and any help would be greatly appreciated. I also unfortunately am not covered by warranty as it expired awhile ago. I have heard of reinstalling to an older OS but I stupidly did not create a backup for all my data and I do not want to risk losing everything for nothing. Is this a bug that will get patched in the near future? I am at a loss because I do not know if this is a software issue that would get fixed or if its a problem with my own computer. I run a virtual machine, so I went to check on it as well and it shows that all drivers and audio devices are updated and supposedly working All other Macbook functions seem to be fine. I also noticed that anything audio related such as Youtube/Spotify would either be extremely laggy, or only the video and not the sound would play. The only "remedy" I have found was to restart, but the problem still persists after some time. Occasionally, the sound would come back but after awhile, it would be gone again. I recently updated my Macbook 2018 Pro from Mojave to the latest 12.5 Monterey and immediately after updating, all of my audio from Macbook speaker to earphones/bluetooth would not work despite my Macbook recognising the devices I used. Are there log files for the apple audio driver which I might be able to look at to see why this is happening?Īudio not working after updating MacBook Pro to 12.5 Monterey Hello guys, this is my first time on this forum, I am not very sure how to word this properly as I am not very tech-savvy so I will do the best I can. If anyone has any ideas of how I can solve it I'd be very grateful. This has been happening for about 6 months now. I think I have the latest drivers for everything. This does not happen with all cubase projects, only ones which use a significant amount of processing power/memory. They also told me that there is an issue with the audio driver in the Ventura OS. I've been in contact with cubase now and after trying a number of things they told me to contact the audio device hardware manufacturers. When this happens I am unable to a) use cubase b) play any other sound on my mac (e.g., youtube gives audio render error, apple music just makes no sound, VLC the same, soundcloud just won't load the page, the spotify app says it's unable to play). This can be built-in internal audio driver in my mac, or one of two other audio drivers (focusrite-USB or allen and heath-Firewire). When running loading large cubase 12 projects the software tells me that it cannot load the audio driver. I have a 16" 2019 Macbook pro running Ventura with 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9 running Ventura 13.3.1
